I admire songwriters who could write beautiful songs, taking inspiration from their life experiences. It must have been cathartic, to get it out of their system. This was one of the two songs Sarah wrote after separating from her husband of 11 years. The other song was "U Want Me 2". I'll end my post with snippets of the lyrics of "Don't give up on us".
